Trinity Lutheran Church has a wide array of ministries that make this church what it is. From the pastor to the choir, from the Sunday School classes to the youth group, and worship assistants, Trinity has a ministry for each and every person to participate in and grow in.

Ministries at Trinity Lutheran Church

The Pastor

The Rev. Sandra L. Bentz began as Trinity's full-time pastor on Easter Sunday, April 16, 2006. She brings to Trinity caring, energetic and committed ministry and leadership.

The Youth Group

Tim Halemeier and Patty Rueger lead the Youth Group (7th grade thru high school) at Trinity and teach Confirmation and Beyond every Wednesday. Some of the activities the Youth have had fun doing include: a bake sale between services to raise money for the mission trip to Sells, AZ, caroling around Porterville, and holding a scavenger grocery extravangza to fill up TLC's food pantry in time for the Holidays.

Sunday Schools

Sunday School for all youth K through high school meets at 9:40am

During the School Year.

Spiritborn

Spiritborn is Trinity's contemporary music vocal and instrumental ensemble that accompanies the 8:30 a.m. worship service each week. Some of the instruments featured include keyboard, guitar, bass and percussion. Call us if you are interested in playing with this music group and can make Wednesday night practices each week.

Adult Choir

Trinity Lutheran Choir (under the direction of Dale Anderson)   The choir presents Choral Calls to Worship each Sunday at the 10:45 a.m. worship, in addition to presenting Christmas and Easter Cantatas each year.  Meets during the school year on Wednesdays at 7pm.

Kidz Choir

Even the kids at Trinity love to sing, and have great voices as well. The Trinity Kidz’ choir sings during the 8:30 a.m. worship and many of them participate in the Christmas Program as well. All kids grades K-6 are invited to join Jan Gibson every Wednesday as a part of our M&M ministry during the school year.

M&M (Mid Week Manna Kids’ Ministry)

This popular ministry is open to all children in grades K-6, preschool children are welcome with a parent. Church membership is not required. Each week's fun includes dinner, crafts, games, songs and Bible lessons. M&M meets Wednesdays during the school year at 5:45 in the Fellowship Hall.  The evening starts with dinner ($2 per person).
