Music Group Has Openings

The contemporary music group Spiritborn announces several openings for musicians for the fall and winter seasons.  Spiritborn is a volunteer music group that performs weekly during the 8:30 a.m. worship service at Trinity Lutheran Church in Porterville.

The group has current openings for bass player, percussionist, guitar player and singers, according to Spiritborn director Jan Gibson. Musicians with other instrumental skills may also be considered. Moderate experience and a commitment of at least two hours each week is preferred.  The group rehearses Wednesday nights from7:30-8:30 pm.
Spiritborn performs from 7:45 – 9:30 a.m. on Sundays. Musicians also have the opportunity to perform during additional Holiday services such as mid-week advent services. All musicians interested in gaining experience performing in front of a group and leading others in song, and in celebrating music together are invited to participate.
Church membership is not required.
